I am a fine art photographer based in New England, drawn to light, color, atmosphere, and the traces people leave behind. My interest in photography began in high school in Worcester, Massachusetts, where I learned the craft through years of shooting, developing, and printing in the darkroom. Those early experiences gave me a lasting appreciation for the photographic print and taught me to see with patience, intention, and a strong sense of composition. Although I now work entirely digitally, the discipline of the darkroom continues to influence my approach. I find my photographs while exploring city streets, small towns, quiet roads, and overlooked corners of the built environment throughout New England and beyond. I am drawn to worn objects, aging structures, architectural details, and the subtle evidence of lives lived around them. These places often reveal a character and beauty that can easily go unnoticed. For me, photography is an act of paying attention. I look for moments when light, color, texture, and place come together in unexpected ways—when something familiar takes on a new presence. A weathered wall, an empty storefront, or a passing figure can become compelling simply because of the way the moment unfolds. My photographs are an invitation to slow down and look more closely at the world around us. I hope they evoke curiosity, memory, and a sense of quiet wonder while reminding us that beauty can be found in places we might otherwise pass by. The tools may have changed since my days in the darkroom, but my reason for making photographs remains much the same: to explore with curiosity, find meaning in the overlooked, and preserve those fleeting moments when the everyday reveals something unexpected.
